The most important element of a personally fulfilling life is our relationship with others. Communication with others is the means for forming and growing these relationships.  The Communication Clubhouse focuses on providing a warm and engaging environment for children, teens and adults to practice, speech, language and social learning concepts in natural surroundings that mimic real-life experiences, whether it be in your home, private school or our unique clubhouse experience. 

 

Nicole G. DeVoss, JD, MS, CCC-SLP, the founder of The Communication Clubhouse,  is a licensed and trained speech-language pathologist, specializing in evaluating and treating children ages 2 to 18 years in speech, language, and social skills development, with additional certification and training in Social Thinking concepts, created by Michelle Garcia Winner.

 

She prides herself in involving family members in creating an appropriate home program to encourage generalization of newly learned skills. She advocates for families, attends school meetings, and refers to other professionals who can participate in the child’s development. She see the child and family as one, helping the child become an independent, effective communicator in their daily lives in school and the community, helping them maintain employment, and assisting them with making and keeping friends.
