Parent Consultations

We value the importance of parent involvement in helping their children develop social learning. Social learning should not stop after a therapy session. This should be the jumping off point!

Communicating across neurotypes can be challenging, especially if you are neurotypical(NT) and your child is neurodivergent(ND), has AD(H)D or just struggles understanding the world around them. Understanding each other’s brain types is key to understanding what can and cannot change in your relationship.
Together, you need to develop a common language to fully understand each other’s needs and capacities and to slowly make the changes you can and decide whether you can live with the ones you can’t.
At the Clubhouse, we can act as your translator and guide as you move closer together to transform your relationship into one that is less frustrating and more collaborative!

We encourage parents to actively guide their children to decipher and understand the social world. If you feel you could benefit from additional consultation and guidance on the methods, language and implementation used with your child, we offer consulting to help give you the tools and confidence to navigate your child's daily social challenges.
